Is it good to have a protein snack after a cardio workout?

After I do a weight training or resistance band workout, I will make a shake with Greek yogurt and skim milk or light Slim Fast shake (usually 20-30 g protein and around 200 calories).

After doing cardio only is it still important to get your protein? If I do cardio only I kind of hate filling up half of the calories I would have burned right after the workout. Should I make a protein shake after cardio, or is a light low-fat yogurt good enough? Or should I have anything at all right away?

    Yes it's fine to have protein post-cardio. When you're doing carido you are still working out your muscles, so protein is still required for muscle building and repair. Your muscles will be hungry don't let them starve!
