I just got an iPod Nano and I'm brand new to iTunes. How does iTunes work, or what is the best site for downloading music? I'm willing to pay...I used to use Limewire and Frostwire, but after having big problems with viruses on my computer I'd rather pay for safe music.

Any recommendations?

The washing instructions on the dress say dry clean only. If I wore it out and it smelled like cigarette smoke, would getting it dry cleaned take the smell out?

It started as a sore throat/cold a few days ago and now I literally have no voice. I can't make a single sound, and I'm lucky if I can get a whisper out.

The problem is, I have work tonight and I can't call off. I work in a hospital where I have to talk to patients and answer phones. What am I supposed to do??

I'm considering getting it done but I'm just wondering how long it will be sore. For example, how long until it's generally healed enough to use Q-tips again, or wrap my head in a towel after showering?

I have my cartilage pierced in one ear but it was so long ago I don't remember how long it was sore afterward!

Tragus earrings (studs) are flat on the back, right?

I realize while it's healing and sore I won't be able to, but once everything is healed can you still get your earbud headphones in your ear okay? I have the Lady Gaga headphones and they have awesome sound...I don't really want to give that up for over the head headphones.

On a scale of 1 - 10 how bad would you say it hurts? I have my belly button pierced, and I have a pretty high tolerance for pain...I'm just wondering what to expect if I decide to get it done.

Also, I have my ears pierced 3 times on bottom, and my cartilage once on the left side. Would a tragus piercing on my right ear be too much going on in my ears? I only wear tiny diamonds in my 2-3 holes and my cartilage, and I'd only wear a tiny diamond in my tragus if I do it.

I got a haircut this weekend and the stylist tried to sell me everything under the sun. It wasn't so much a hardcore sales pitch, but she explained every product she used on my hair and what the benefits of using it were.

I did kind of appreciate it because usually they don't really tell you what they are using or why they are using it. But I still wonder if it was an attempt to make a little extra money on her part.

A hairstylist this weekend told me that most drugstore shampoos contain a lot of silicone, and it changes the pH of your hair, causing it to become brittle and break off.

My hair was pretty damaged because my last haircut was probably 4 or 5 months ago, and she brought it up on her own when she saw it. Are salon products really better and worth the extra couple dollars, or was she just trying to make a few extra bucks herself?

After I do a weight training or resistance band workout, I will make a shake with Greek yogurt and skim milk or light Slim Fast shake (usually 20-30 g protein and around 200 calories).

After doing cardio only is it still important to get your protein? If I do cardio only I kind of hate filling up half of the calories I would have burned right after the workout. Should I make a protein shake after cardio, or is a light low-fat yogurt good enough? Or should I have anything at all right away?

The room is a cream color with a creamy tan/brown accent wall. With the neutral walls I really want to get a bedding set that pops. Which of these three do you like best?

Should it be the first wall you see when you walk into the room, or should it be the wall with the bed against it?

The first wall you see is shorter, has the window, desk, and shelf with birdcage. I feel that painting this wall different/darker will be too busy.

The wall with the bed is longer and will have nothing else, although it's off to the left side of the room. I'm leaning toward painting the bed wall darker, but will it throw off the balance of the whole room? Any suggestions?

If it's a scam, they couldn't advertise like they do on television year after year, right? I realize the odds of winning are ridiculously low, if not nearly impossible...I'm just wondering.

I noticed a job posting for a police officer at a local hospital and this was a requirement. I just found it interesting and was wondering why that would be really important for that job. Any ideas?

I got a call today about a job and scheduled a phone interview...then they called back and also wanted to schedule an in-person interview. The phone interview is tomorrow and the in-person interview is Friday...any clues on what I should expect? Do you think they'll be asking me pretty much the same questions?

I need any help I can get! It's been a while since I was interviewed and I really need a good job!

I feel ridiculously lost right now and I can't figure out what to do. A year ago I was the happiest person...I had a good-paying job, I was about to graduate college, and I was with the guy who I thought I was going to marry. One year later I'm alone, still can't find a full-time job, and have more bills than money coming in.

I feel like all my friends (and everyone else my age) is getting everything handed to them...landing awesome jobs right out of college, getting engaged, buying houses, etc. I feel depressed but I don't even have health insurance so I can't even see anybody about it.

Has anyone else gone through this? How did you get out of the funk? I'm tired of feeling like crap :(

I bought something off of Ebay a few days ago. The seller just left me feedback but I noticed a note under their name that said they are no longer a registered Ebay user...when I look under the Won section in My Ebay the item I won isn't listed anymore!

They left me positive feedback and I checked their feedback before I committed to buying...they had 100% positive and seemed pretty legit.

What are the odds of me being ripped off? :(

I'm pretty positive the answer is NO lol but I started working out again yesterday and I think I did too much...I can barely walk! :(

He broke up with me a few months ago. A few weeks ago a mutual friend asked him where I was (she didn't know we weren't still together), and he just looked away and changed the subject really fast. He didn't say anything about us not being together anymore.

If it's been a few months, why can't he man up and tell people? It's not like we're in high school and he's scared...he is a grown man.

I'd absolutely get a dog from a shelter over a breeder any day, but I was just wondering. I love huge dogs, but I know most of them don't live very long. Are they more likely to have a longer lifespan if they are a mixed breed compared to a purebred?

I know that sounds like a dumb question, but I was fired yesterday for no good reason and I'm not sure what to do with my resume. I could use the sales/marketing experience I got from the job to apply for future jobs, but I don't know if it's bad to leave it on there if they let me go.

It was just a retail store and the people who owned it are literally the most ridiculous people I've ever met. I just graduated college and was only there because I needed a paycheck. I just hope this doesn't screw up my chances of landing a good job. :(
