Is there a big difference between a phone interview and in-person interview?

I got a call today about a job and scheduled a phone interview...then they called back and also wanted to schedule an in-person interview. The phone interview is tomorrow and the in-person interview is Friday...any clues on what I should expect? Do you think they'll be asking me pretty much the same questions?

I need any help I can get! It's been a while since I was interviewed and I really need a good job!

Update:

At first it was only a phone-interview, but he called back after about an hour and said they'd like me to go in for one Friday in person. Double whammy!

Congratulations! Happy for you that you've got the interviews lined up! This must mean that they have responded positively toward (a) your Resume or (b) your online Application. In my experience, in my phone interviews, they seemed to want a confident-sounding person with an energetic voice and confident voice and a great attitude. Put your best foot forward! Be your most confident and project your best attitude. Same for the in-person interview. I'm not sure what questions they're going to ask you -- but be your most confident and project a great attitude! :-) I hope that helps? :-)

I'm surprised they scheduled both at the same time. The phone interview is usually a screening interview....before they invest in bringing you out for an in person interview. Some of the questions will be the same, but I would expect the in person interview to be more extensive.
