Is there a quick cure for lost voice?
It started as a sore throat/cold a few days ago and now I literally have no voice. I can't make a single sound, and I'm lucky if I can get a whisper out.
The problem is, I have work tonight and I can't call off. I work in a hospital where I have to talk to patients and answer phones. What am I supposed to do??
I can't make a single sound...please help :(

Don't talk at all and suck on cough drops, gargle salt water, drink tea with honey, and rest. If you don't have your voice back by tonight then go to work and show your boss that your sick. He should realize that you can't talk to patients and send you home. Hope this helps and get well soon!=)
