Why does Justin Bieber sing at such a high pitch?

I don't like his music, but this is not another immature question. I've heard him talk before and he sounds normal pretty much. He just sings so high! Is this by choice or because he has to? He is a very good singer whether you like him or not. Although, when I first heard him on the radio I honestly thought it was just a female adult singer. Isn't he just setting himself up for the cruel feedback?

I think he sounded that way at first and he got good reactions so his producers or whatever try to keep his voice voice that way. You can tell his voice is maturing slowly. They want him to sell more as long as he has that girlish voice. A lot of fans love his voice. I agree he has talent whether he's liked or not.

Because his balls hasn't dropped yet. He's still young. I am sure in just a few years, his singing voice will deepen, and may turn out to be a bad singer then. Cross your fingers!!!  

However, there is a world famous singer that had a high pitch voice, and people loved him up to his death, and still do to this day.....  Michael Jackson.

So there is a good chance, that Bieber may be around for quite some time as long as he has that voice.

Also, another very famous high pitch voiced singer, Frankie Valli. I had to youtube him, however my wife was telling me about him. I didn't recognize his name, however I did his songs.

Another good one is New Beats. They are known for the song "Bread and Butter".

Prince is another one that has a falsetto voice.

So, who knows, this kid might be pretty good for life. I just don't want to see another teenage idol become a screw up like the others: Brittany Spears, Lindsay Lohan, and more.

His voice hasn't broken as much as it should and when he sings his voice is higher, because thats the songs they chose for him. He CAN'T SING! Why does everyone like his voice so much? I've heard younger singers than him sing much much much better.
