What's this horror movie?

OK so it's a bit old maybe late 90s because it used to give all the time when I was little. Its a horror movie that begins with two teenagers a boy and a girl. They start to argue and I think the guy tries to rape her but she screams so he bags her head, kills her, and buries her into the wall. I think she ends up swallowing her own tongue or something like that. Anyway years later some guy moves in and for some reason keeps seeing the word DIG.

I don't know if that's all correct like I said I was a little kid when it used to show. I've been trying to figure out what the hell it's called for the longest.
