is mother still responsible to provide for minor child if she leaves residence?
My wife left my son and myself without any transportation in the dead of winter and is now refusing to provide even food for my son .she has only bought food once in a month since shes been gone(except for a bag of gummy worms and a box of little debbie cakes.she stated -"You have him you f#@#@ take care of him". can she do this and get away with it.btw she is also being investigated for child abuse.

Actually you can sue her for child support. As long as she is out of the house, then she has to pay child support. Take her to court. She is a sorry excuse for a mother, and I feel bad for the baby boy. That is so sad.

She is only required to provide support if you go to court and a judge orders it. Unless you live in a rural area, there is taxi service to get to a store to provide food.

Get yourself some transportation and a good lawyer.
Put your child first. He needs a parent he can rely on. Good luck to you and your son.

Well, if you are still married to he she can! Get a divorce and then take her to court for child support.

Yes I think so. She should provide for him if you cannot. I reckon she's a bit crazy no offence
