If a girl offers you a stick gum on a first "date" is she hinting at a kiss or...?
Ok, so here's the deal: I've gone to the movies twice, on two separate occasions, with two different girls that are both my friends. They're great girls but I'm not exactly sure I'm in love with them or really attracted to either. I just saw the movie "Just Go with It" starring Adam Sandler. Last time, I saw "Tangled" with this other female friend of mine (whenever that was first released). Don't get me wrong, they're both cute and have their..."quirks" but I'm not exactly dating material. In fact, I've never even had a girlfriend. I'm 20. That's a bit of a problem since I'm so inexperienced...In any case, both times, the girls offered me gum (they both chewed a piece too). Granted I took the stick of gum both times and both girls are technically single, I never thought much of it (until this very moment). Now my breath is not a problem as EVERY TIME I know that I'll be in the company of a girl, I'll always make sure to brush my teeth and gargle with mouthwash ahead of time. So, my question is: If a girl offers you gum on a first "date" (I don't even know if it's technically a "date" when it's just a female friend...) is she hinting at a kiss, bad breath (from the popcorn?!?), or something else?
I don't do the whole "subtle gesture" thing. I'm oblivious to it. No joke. Tips?

I do not believe for one moment it was your breath as you brush and gargle. they were being polite and offered since they took a piece they did not wanna be rude. sometimes they do this to freshen their breath if they wanna kiss so they offered you a piece of gum. forget it you are just fine. did you get the kiss? If not maybe next date. carry dentyne and offer them some next time. thanks Maggie

Well a lot of times people chew gum to just freshen their breath before kissing. But if she just took one out for herself then maybe she's being polite by asking if you want some. It also has to do with if the girl seems into you, or if she tries getting closer to you. Sometimes friends just offer friends gum, and sometimes it could be hinting something..

Here are tips on How to Get A Girlfriend https://bitly.im/aL490 Whether in high school, college, or out of college, when you know what to say and how to say it and how to act to make girls interested in dating you, life becomes a lot easier. It's not even about your looks either. I've seen attractive guys have a hard time getting a girl while an average guy gets a bunch of girls. You just got to know the tricks. Have fun.

Yes. That is a lot of women's subtle green light to go in for the kiss at some point later that evening.

Some people just give gum to be polite. I for one don't like sharing my gum. Ill give you money but stay away from my pack of gum. It all really depends on how things are going and in what context the gum was given.

Sounds like subtle hints are the case, but maybe it's just an offering.
Many girls just like gum.
I like gum.

try brushing teeth next time before you eat. or maybe she does want to kiss you, and she wants to smell the gum instead of after dinner breath.

wow really? .. you really think that just because a girl offers you gum when your at the movies they may just want to kiss you? ...wow thats probably the craziest thing i have ever heard no offense but wow ... no they probably dont want to kiss you. usually when someone gets out a piece of gum for themselves they offer it to the other person out of generosity or maybe you really do have bad breath and they were trying to be tactful in hinting that you have bad breath .... =) wow .. im seriously chuckling to myself .. you are really funny =)

I would not want my date to wonder the same thing and therefore would only offer gum if it was necessary.

Well Honestly I'm 23 and whenever I offer My boyfriend of five years gum it's because I wanted a piece of gum and I new that if I didn't offer him one, than he would get upset and ask me why I didn't offer him gum! idk if that helps you lol good luck!!
