Lord Buddha as i have taken archaeology and they talk about how buddha's teaching is directly related to hypothesis testing and buddha told his followers to investigate the natural phenomenon and question the higher authority.

Buddha was Indian, and Indians are taking over in the maths and sciences, so I'd say he or at least his kin were scientific.

Interestingly, both offered an empirical standard. Buddha said go by your experience and reason, and Jesus said we would know his followers by evidence - their fruit.
Both, however, also made unfalsifiable claims.

Both are. Jesus teach people how to fish. That's not easy. Budhha teach people to watch where they are going which is also not easy.
