I did the right thing, right?

My best friend and her boyfriend have been together a while. He's a flirt, though; first with another friend of mine, then with me. We ended up kissing, and at the time, it felt fine. But with today being Valentine's Day, I told him that I couldn't hurt my best friend like that, and that unless he broke up with her, we couldn't happen. I don't want them to break up, but I like him and he knows; he likes me, too. But did I do the right thing?

Yes you did the right thing. You remain loyal to your best friend. A true best friend are hard to find sometimes. You have nothing to worry about. This jerk will make a mistake and your best friend will find out what kind of boyfriend,he really is, sooner or later.

Why would you kiss your best friend's boyfriend while they're still together?

Even if you guys go out, the same thing could happen to you. This boy could just make out with another girl and dump you for her.

No, you didn't do the right thing. Tell your friend what has been happening, but I doubt telling her that you ended it with him will make the pain any better.

it depends which way you look at it. would you like it if she took your boyfriend & told him to break up with you so they could be together. Most likely not. So I personally don't think you did the right thing, but that is your decision. Hope that helped you. Good luck!

You're a bad friend to begin with for kissing him behind her back. She doesn't need a bad friend like you, or a bad boyfriend like him in her life. How would you feel if she did that to you? Not good

yes you definitely did the right thing .But if he breaks off with her and starts dating you then you will loose her too .and if he kisses you while going with your friend than what makes you think he wont 2 time you the same way

Wow that's awful, you seriously want to date a guy who's dating your best friend and on top of that you KISSED him. You're the worst. And this guy ain't a prize either. What makes you think he won't do that to you? I would never in my life date a no-class tramp like you.

Forget about the guy - he has no respect for women. If he did, he wouldn't cheat.

Also, tell your friend what happened. She doesn't deserve to live in a lie.
