How many people in this section are actually affiliated with the Army?

This is my first question and obviously it is simply curiosity. But I want to see who here really is in the Army, a military spouse or retired from the Army and I want to be sure. So to that end, look me up on AKO and shoot me an email. I've got my AKO forwarding to my state.gov account so I will get your message immediately. Anyone really in the service will know how to find LTC Gross on AKO. Hope to hear from a lot of you.

Update:

Edit: I'm fairly certain I'm not scaring away anyone and all real Soldiers know that my rank means nothing on here. Thanks! And I'll assume you are not a Soldier.

I know how to contact Colonel Sanders...

He's got restaurants in every city in America.

So...after you find out who comes here often, what are you going to do? Pull rank and/or tell someone to shut up if you don't like what they're saying? Are those people who are still active that contact you supposed to watch what they say now when you're around?

No thanks. Don't need to satisfy your curiosity.

    EDIT:

Yeah, your rank means nothing on here...but once these people contact you, their real identities are open for you to see (assuming they use their AKO logins to email you)...ex. John.C.Doe@army.mil Every email in the US military is unique, so it's fairly easy to find a specific individual and their unit if you have their full email address.

What you assume is irrelevant...I could be a 12 year old in Montana or I could be your boss' boss...you'll never know. I could be an E-1 or a GS-15 working in the Pentagon...

Why would being in the Army make a difference to you? Are you going to cater your comments differently depending on which side of the fence someone is? So what difference will knowing peoples' real identities make? Care to answer that?

If I E-Mail you, can I get a guaranteed Best Answer?

I'm going to do my semi-annual AKO login tonight. It's a special occasion. (only a slight exaggeration)
