Do you agree with this appeal court ruling that "Muslim ranters are out of order" ?

Five people who live in our country who dismayed and upset families of deceased soldiers being repatriated through Wootton Bassett by shouting vile and obscene taunts and rants have been slapped down by appeal court judges. Your views please.

    Yes. About time too.

They are free to leave this country if they hate us and our ways so much.

    I liked this bit:

“They believe in the most barbaric, medieval laws but are appealing to the European Court on Human Rights. It’s enough to make a cat laugh.''

Anyone who shouts vile obscenities about dead soldiers should be arrested for inciting racial hatred. All these ranters get off with what christians wouldn't if the roles were reversed.

And if they weren't born in this country then send them back to where they came from. I don't care what "fate" awaits them there.

WHOOPS !!! Helen. Let's get the facts correct. The ranting hate-spitting bearded weirdos were 'demonstrating' in Luton - when a British Regiment was receiving a traditional 'Welcome Home' right to march through local county towns. OK - under the law, local muslims had the right to 'protest' - register their anti-war feelings etc. Just as many True Blue Brits demonstrated against the Invasion of Iraq in the first place.

But in Luton, the 'demonstrators' went beyond the law - making it 'personal' - spitting hatred towards the returning Servicemen. OK it was just a bunch of towel-head maniacs - but they were provoking the majority - claiming THEIR right to wish British soldiers to HELL. A clear case of disorderly conduct, such as to incite/provoke civil unrest.

The real DISGRACE was that local police officers seemed confused - uncertain as to how to deal with the situation. Even a Sergeant with 3 stripes should KNOWN the weirdos were breaking the law - and had them removed. But of course in Multicultural Little Britain - the muslim activists/extremists can get away almost anything these days - under the veil of a dodgy 'religion' to achieve an all abrasive political, social way of life, ruled by the ayatollahs, imams and others with beards - IMPOSING the Will of Allah - on one and ALL.

Using/abusing OUR laws to further their cause, whilst our police are more concerned about keeping the miscreants separate from a rather angry, majority crowd.

And it's even more disgraceful these British Residents (Citizens ???) were allowed to 'appeal' their eventual prosecution and sentence (slap on wrist) all the way up to the Court of Appeal (at huge cost to the majority, law-abiding taxpayers) until FINALLY ruled to be 'out of order'.

Hmm - a couple caught kissing in public in Dubai or wherever - a supposedly moderate, tolerant. enlightened Islamic state - are jailed for 1 month. A British teacher of some 25 years' dedicated service in Libya or wherever asks her 100% muslim 6 year olds to CHOOSE a name for a donated teddy bear. Most opt for 'Mohammed' - she consents - but then she's abruptly sacked - faces a jail sentence - but 'let off lightly' by immediate deportation.

    ???

    How come ???

How come Muslim 'fundamentalists' are allowed to break our laws so easily, with little or no come-back - whilst so rigidly, nastily and oft-times viciously imposing the Will of Allah in their own lands of origin ???

Has the world gone mad - or is it just me ?

While we support the belief in freedom of speech in this country most people value that as something that comes with a responsibility to not cause deliberate offence or to stir up hatred and anger.

We do not tolerate other groups marching and chanting slogans with a 'racial' element which this has as it is aimed specifically at the British.

The chanting/demonstrating with placards in this way was unacceptable in may other countries these men would have been 'arrested' and beaten or worse.

They should think again about the freedoms they enjoy and change their ways.

Yes and rightly so,who do these people think they are and what standard do they apply their logic, they claim their right to act in this outrageous through Sharia law and by doing so show no respect for British law,yet use the E.C.H.R legislation to support their appeal, this or no other country should tolerate these ungrateful malcontents, deportation to these people is required as swiftly as possible as they have demonstrated themselves to be enemy's of this country.

Source(s): Media reports of prior incidents and questions about these peoples agendas in the U.K.

    Hi Helen S

Well Hallelujah. And why were they sectioned off from the crowd and given Police protection?

The whole idea of "free speech" is that you are answerable for your comments.

And what is really sad is that this vocal minority gets so much publicity yet they do not represent the vast majority of peaceful Muslims.

    Best wishes.

Every time something like this happens people are a little less offended. It's called pushing the envelope. Maybe there should actually be severe penalties for some things.

Did you read the article Helen?

The demonstration took place in Luton when the Royal Anglian's had a home coming parade. it had nothing to do with a repatriation ceremony. You need to be careful because you know what the knuckle draggers are like, they will take it as gospel now that the 'ethnics' are demonstrating at Wooton Basset.

People have a right to demonstrate in this country, they also have a responsibility to do it without being deliberately provocative. This rump group are thick as hog excrement, and do their community much more damage than anything a knuckle dragger can do.

Yeah I do, if these people want to protest, then let em do it peacefully and not by trying to incite a riot, which is what I think they were aiming for.

These people are no different to the BNP, as in, they crave publicity to further their cause, and a riot would give em that publicity.

I don't care what nationality or religion they were, they were ignorant beyond belief, disrespectful to the dead and their families; and so arrogant a good hiding would have run off their shoulders.

It is time for ordinary people, the government and the judiciary to speak up for what is right rather than pandering to social mores that have allowed the uncivilised in society to have the loudest voices for too long.
