Is it legal to create a tutorial?
I've been working on a series of tutorials on how to use vector drawing software. These consist of live screen captures with narration, and you can clearly see the brand of software I'm using to draw. I've also been mentioning the brand name in the narration. If I were to offer the tutorials for sale online, is there a possibility that I'm violating a copyright law or otherwise doing anything that could get me into legal trouble?

It's totally legal unless you violate a patent or copyright law. All of your material has to be original.

Legally, you would be in violation of copyright laws. You would need to obtain permission from the software manufacturer to use their product in a commercial tutorial product.

Why would you put it for SALE?
Normally tutorials are free, I think you also would be violating a copyright law, because your selling another's product, as well as pretty much making it your own, by selling it to them. Just be helpful, and make it free, and get money elsewhere.

That would be a violation of copyright. The screen-grabs are of a copyrighted piece of software, so reproducing them for profit would not be looked upon kindly.
