What drivers have you installed for that Wireless Networking card? What help have you sought from the Ubuntu forums?

    http://help.ubuntu.com/

Otherwise, forget Ubuntu 10, and use Linux Mint http://www.linuxmint.com/ as it is ALSO Ubuntu based, but it looks better and has more driver support built in. You can find out if your Wireless card is supported before you even install it. You download the Main ISO, you burn a disc from it, you boot to the disc, and you try it out. If support for your wireless card is included, you'll be able to get online from just the LiveCD.

What you need to do is to apply a application suggested as NDS Wrapper, which permits Linux (Ubuntu) to apply the residing house windows driving force which you have. look at the Ubuntu boards. they have an element deticated to on the spot networking appropriate of success

Can you please ask this question in Ubuntu Forum?

    http://ubuntuforums.org/

Yahoo answers is not a suitable place to discuss this type advanced problem... such as I can't answer twice here... so it would be better for you to discuss the problems in the "absolute beginners talk" section of Ubuntu Forum.
