I've read that my computer should be able to play Arma 2 - Operation Arrowhead pretty well but i get really bad fps sometimes. my fps is usually 30fps in the middle of nowhere but when im actually doing something with a team or near a town or base it looks like im watching a slide show.

Heres my rig.

Windows 7 64bit

AMD Athlon II 640 x4 @3.0ghz

XFX Radeon HD 6870 dual dissipation @ 950 (gpu clock) 1150 (Mem Clock)

12gb 1333 ram

750gb hdd

For some reason minecraft is suddenly running very poorly, usually i get 50-60+fps with any texture packs and ~30-40fps with a 512x512 texture pack. Now Minecraft is fluxuating at around 10 and 30 fps. The only mod/modpack i am using is Tekkit (Technic Pack for Bukkit) please help

I bought an HP p6703w from walmart and i plan on ordering a new graphics card and power supply online. My cousin said something about making sure the clock speeds or timings are compatible with my motherboard but i have no idea what i would need to look for, the graphics card i plan on getting is an "XFX Radeon HD 6870 2gb" from newegg and a "600w corsair power supply" from newegg as well. I could really use some help with this

My hp p6703w came with 5 gigabytes of ram, 2x 2gb and 1x 1gb. I took out the extra gig a while ago to make the ram dual channel and now im wondering if i should have left in the extra gig

I want to know if i should go with an "EVGA gtx 460" or a "XFX Radeon HD 6850"

I will be getting upgrading from my integrated "ATI Radeon HD 4200" in my HP p6703w to an XFX Radeon hd 6850. I will be able to get the graphics card next month when my mom gets her H&R block check but i might have to wait until christmas to upgrade my power supply from the stock 250w to a 500w. So would i be able to put the graphics card in the computer and not use it until then? or should i just leave it in the box.

I have a 32" lcd tv with a resolution of 1360x768 and i use it as my monitor. I really don't like how big the windows are and i don't think there is any way to change that. i have tried modifying the dpi settings in the registry but that messes up a lot of on screen text or makes the windows too small and the letters take up more space than the window can extend to. if someone can help that would be great!

Rockmelt and Chrome tell me to install the newest version of flash player but whenever i download and try to run it, nothing happens.

I have an HP desktop and lately the limited options in the bios is kind of frustrating me so i have one question. Is there a way to switch my computers bios to another one perhaps the motherboards default bios?

my reason for this is that i want to use the bios to dedicate more ram to my integrated graphics and the ho bios doesnt let me.

My cat has recently been wounded by what my mom thinks is from a possum, he has a big wound on the side of his head (now a scab) and has been getting skinnier and his fur has been getting all gross looking. I've used peroxide on his wound a few times to disinfect it and each time i do it foams A LOT! i dont know what to do and i dont have the money to take him to the vet.

Also, hes been meowing A LOT whenever someone gets close to him, which is odd because hes usually calm and doesnt care if people are near him.

My mom wont agree to giving him a bath because she says the soap will burn him but i think it would be a hell of a lot easier to help him out if he were to be cleaned

Ever since elementary school I have been interested in learning about other planets, stars, solar systems, and galaxies. I have been thinking about it for the past few days and I might want to actually be a part of actually discovering these types of things and learning about them at a much higher level. At first i wanted to go to Full Sail University and become a Video Game Developer but now i'm not sure. I have even been addicted to watching documentaries about the Universe and all that goes with it. For example, I have just finished watching a 5 season series called "The Universe" on Netflix and have been looking for more. It would be great if i can get some advice with this because this would totally change my plans for the future and i need to be absolutely sure.

Not sure if it matters but i am 17 years old and am going to be graduating from high school in one month, which is why this is REALLY bugging me.

I would like to Over-clock my processor, being an AMD Athlon II 640 Quad-core @3.0ghz. but there is one problem... It's in an HP computer so i am unable to Over-clock using the bios, i was wondering what program (if any) i should use and what i should over-clock it up to.

My 32" LCD television has a recommended 1360 x 768 resolution and a max refresh rate of 70hz (or at least thats what it lets me go to before the monitor gets no signal in the catalyst control center) and World of Warcraft has a max of 85hz in my settings... should i have it at 70 or 85? or will setting it at 85 mess up the fps if the monitor itself doesnt even go that fast?

main reason is that the whole "integrated" thing is bugging me. also i need a better graphics card

I can run most newer games on decent settings but for some reason I can only play WoW with mostly max settings with water at medium, Shadows on Low, 8x anti-anisotropic, and x1 multi-sampling. also on 1360x768 on my 32" LCD tv if that has anything to do with it...

I'm looking for a good movie, i just got finished watching "The Warriors Way" which was AWESOME! probably my new favorite movie! i guess i want a good equivalent, something with Samurai's and such.

Is there a virtual desktop that can be used that can actually boot into the guest operating system without the host operating system being on. I know someone might say "dual boot" or "install the os you want" but my laptop is unable to downgrade to windows xp from windows 7 because of some driver issues.

I just installed Ubuntu 10.10 on my laptop. My Atheros AR9285 wifi adapter is not working. it doesnt even say its there, i tried pressing the wifi button and that doesnt work so thats not why, I tried going to forums and they were no help so this is my last resort. PLEASE HELP!

I have a HPg60-508us laptop with a limited bios, and by that I mean that I can not change any settings in the bios. In order to install windows xp on my laptop i believe i need to switch my Hard Drive to compatibility mode which is impossible because I can't change any setting in the bios. If I can get some help with this issue it would awesome!

I have an HPg60 laptop and I would like to know if Leo4all will work on it.
