How do i make objects on screen smaller?
I have a 32" lcd tv with a resolution of 1360x768 and i use it as my monitor. I really don't like how big the windows are and i don't think there is any way to change that. i have tried modifying the dpi settings in the registry but that messes up a lot of on screen text or makes the windows too small and the letters take up more space than the window can extend to. if someone can help that would be great!
I'm already at my tv's recommended resolution and the "ctrl+mouse wheel" just zooms in and out.
i meant is there a way to make everything smaller including the taskbar and everything.
Also, my computer has an ATI Radeon hd 4200 integrated gpu, though im upgrading to a Nvidia gtx 460 in a week or so.

Try holding down the ctrl key and scrolling your mouse wheel up or down to shrink or enlarge what is displayed in the window you are viewing. It basically lets you control the size more precisely. It only will effect the window that your in and the desktop icons. To properly set the resolution you modify in the display settings in the control panel. If you have a Nvidia video card or chipset on the motherboard, the advanced settings in display panel will let you more accurately adjust the resolution.
