at school the server proxy's are blocked too.

you may need try some paid vpn service if proxy is blocked.

On a home computer, search for proxy sites. I subscribe to a newsletter that enlists new proxys weekly.
Google 'proxy website' and look into it.

Try ultrasurf. Once you've installed it, just run the application and you'll understand.
