Usually the only people that get to do that are the dealership owner, the general manager and the sales manager.

Some dealerships allow this, and they will sell the cars as program cars after a while.

The car will have a few thousand miles on it but it will have never been titled and the warranty stays the same, and you pay quite a bit less for the car!

They don't usually just drive any car because the dealership doesn't want their new cars to have very many miles on them, i don't know about you but when I buy a new car I want it to be new, not slightly used.

The days of car salesmen getting a "demo" are disappearing. Most managers might get one, or the top sales person, but for the most part no one else at a dealer gets to take cars home. The best you can hope is to take one to lunch or a spin around the block.
