Doesn't it annoy you?

When a questioner asks a question promising to "give points the best answer" then doesn't go to the trouble? I really don't care but if you are going to boast that you will then do it!

Update:

I don't really care about the virtual points. That's not the point. The point is, why go to the trouble of promising something you are not going to award? Or are they just "a politician in training?"

    Meh. If they don't then it just makes the process more democratic, in my opinion. I'd rather the asker didn't get to choose at all.
