Probably a virus. Save whatever you want to CD and reload Windows.

One of the problems with the older XP systems running a 3rd party file backup program is that they often didn't run a cumulative backup, i.e., a backup that just adds new files to an existing backup file. Sometimes they'd run a separate backup file each time, leaving you scratching your head (like now) as to how you could possibly be using that much disk space when you're in fact just not saving that much data, and you're constantly cleaning up your drive. It's really bad if you're doing a large file backup on a regular basis. You can run a disk clean on your drive one day, delete or transfer gigabytes of files to another drive, and have it low on space within a couple of days again.

If you're running a backup program, you need to check your settings to see where your backup files are being saved to. Once you do, navigate there and see how many files there are, and get rid of all but the current one if there's more than one. Once you do, alter the settings in your program to allow for only a cumulative backup of one file.

Y! Answers is On the Internet, It dont take up HD Capacity.

Some Y! Answers Temp Internet Files May, but not alot.

First I'd say.. Wow 33GB.. Thats Really small for A HD These Days.

Anyways try getting CCleaner below: Do two scans in sections.. Cleaner & Registry, Remove any findings, then goto tools, uninstall, uninstall anyhting you dont need.

    http://download.cnet.com/ccleaner/

Also goto My documents, downloads, remove any crap you downloaded and check around for general junk you may have.

And i suppose the disk cleanup could be worth it as stated above in another post.

    Hope it helps :)

It means you are out of space :)

Ok first obvious solution is that you run the desk cleanup tool but hou do not check the boxes by the items that are to be deleted. In other words, you run the desk cleanup tool, it gives you a new window with check boxes, item descriptions and sizes. You have to check the boxes and chose delete (or delete permanantly i dont remember).

I don't mean to patronize you or anything but I've seen it before :")
