Does this piss off any other critiquers?

Okay, so you are on here, killing time, entertaining, waiting for the sleepy medicine to kick in, whatever... and you come across a question about a piece of writing in needs feedback. You are not one of those people that thinks the "Very Good!" thing helps anybody besides giving them an unneeded ego boast. So, you take the time and effort to look it over, with a careful eye, and probably because you think the writer is good enough that they deserve proper feedback to help them develop farther. However, when you go down there and click the 'submit' button it takes you to an error page and upon farther investigation you find that the question has been deleted! And perhaps you just spent the last twenty minutes working on you answer! Err!

By god, if folks ask for it, they shouldn't be a cream-puff about it when the truth comes out and run away to weep under the covers! Right?

I understand how some of us can be harsh sometimes, and maybe even half full of it, but...

What do you think about these things?

It annoys the hell out of me. Especially when you do the critique and it goes through fine, then after a further 5 minutes you go back and see it's been deleted. I have even received hate-mail before just for an honest critique. Someone else was saying "OMG this is relly gud, send me the rest" and it really wasn't good... I got the hate-mail while the person who was as illiterate as the author got Best Answer. It's not the BA that I'm after, but just knowing that the people are too blind to see past the person who said it was amazing and worthy of being published.... Blah. Sometimes I am harsh, but other times I talk the people through it properly and kindly and they still don't listen.

The people who constantly post the same thing over and over again annoy me too. I'll mention no names, because many of you might know who I mean... The user who is writing about his grandma being ill for some time. -_- I've seen that about 20 times now! I give up helping him.

Yeah, that is annoying when it happens. Though in fairness I don't know if it's just me, but there also seems to be a lot of bugs. Half the time when I answer I get redirrected to an error page or a "The question has been deleted" page. I click previous and submit again and then it works. Once in a while I have to do that three or four times before it actually works.

I don't answer questions asking for critique usually, but error pages came up A LOT for me yesterday.

I spent time on those answer, too.

I got *very* pissed off, lol, it wasn't pretty.

Usually if you refresh the page then the original page comes up with your answer. Sometimes it's not the user deleting their question but YA.

somewhat good question. Dropped seize. that's complicated while the bowlers been toiling in the process the innings striving for that wicket and the prospect ultimately comes and the seize isn't taken. i'm used to run-outs via now having Shah, Bopara and Bell in my team

Have experienced the same twice! But maybe not 20 mins, in my case, say 10 mins. It irks me, such things.

Yeah it does irk me...But its not actually deleted.. In my experience, it just says deleted but you do get the two points, Try it,

What irkes me is when the question is not available and then you try and try and boom you can't post your answer
