I think my birth control has made me gain a little bit of weight?

I'm sure everyone's heard this a million times, but I use a non-traditional kind of birth control known as Implanon it's an implant type of birth control. I have a really fast metabolism so weight gain is unfamilar to me. It's nothing major I'd say if I have gained weight that its around 5-10 pounds. Could this be because of Implanon at all? All answers will be highly appreciated.

I'm not sure if that's it, my eating habits haven't changed at all since I've had this birth control.

    Yes and no. Birth control can make you hungry, but it does not cause you to gain weight. You gain weight by over-eating and not exercising enough.

I am sitting here with clots in both legs, venus insufficiency, on Plavix that caused a hole in my stomach, and it all started with birth control pills and smoking cigarettes, way back when - hormones. Not worth it. The pharmaceutical companies get rich and we get blood clots, stroke and heart attacks. for starters
