Thoughts on Calves. Please help.?
My Soleus is wound up so tight, it will not release & relax.. It's been like this for days & I still want to run. I gave it two days rest, then ran two miles on it before I had to stop. I want to run at least 3.5 tomorrow. Any suggestions on how to release the knot & make it all go away. I've stretched it for long periods of time..

roll the calf area with a can may help, it feels like it hurts and it may hurt so it's kind of hard to tell if it helps or not.

im no expert but im just giving more suggestions which are: massaging, ice, compression, elevation, cross tranining such as swimming, biking, and yoga. Or maybe just give it another rest day. Hope this helped
