anxiety... swallowing problems?
im 15 and... ever time I eat ill think ill choke or something... and sometimes i randomly got to keep swallowing my saliva... otherwise i get a choke feeling and if people look at me when i feel like this it gets worst? anxiety?

Hi, I have had a similar problem to yours. Only, when I get like that, I swallow and it stays in my throat and won't go down, food too.
This is a problem for your Dr to have checked-out. I had an "upper GI scoping:" done, and they found a problem with my esophagus that they were able to fix during the exam. It didn't hurt. And it's effects lasted about 3 years. I just had the procedure repeated, and a biopsy (they removed a sample of tissue) and tested it. It was determined that I was having 2 problems at the same time. My throat swelling & clamping shut is also an allergic reaction to some foods. Next I go for allergy testing to find out what foods to avoid.
This has been an embarrassing, especially at restaurants.
I find that the anxiety is actually a secondary problem to having my throat close off.
