New washers cost a pile of money.
Many of the newer washers run an hour or longer per load of wash.
Some of the new washers process with minimal water
People washing dirty diapers need lots of action. (some label recommendation of 5 washes per diapering) Adequate rinsing needed to prevent Urinary Tract Infections.
Electricity is the biggest issue to some
The need to process 12 or 15 loads per week keeps the washer going for larger families.
Dependability and fewer moving parts is an attractive feature.
Some want it all programmed for them
Some want manual controls.
So, tell us, What feature is most important for you?
3 AnswersCleaning & Laundry9 years agoAsking police - for a confused Dementia person - where do you look for their ID? Wrist, Necklace, Ankle?
Our Dad's dementia is progressing, and he travels with us.
His Dr says it is necessary that he wear an ID tag with our contact info on it. I'm not sure which to buy. I wish I could buy one that he could not take off, but that I have not yet found.
He cannot be relied upon to carry his wallet or keys.

Can you help us locate one for our Lab?
Not available in pet stores.
Vets won't talk to us without our paying a $70 consultation fee.
Vet say she is too healthy to "put down".

Instead, this person sits at the computer to learn ways of self-treatment...The illness is getting worse. This is not so much of an illness question as it is a mental health question. In our culture treats illnesses. To go without healthcare .... ? What do you do if this were someone you really cared about?

I was in a car accident, had short term memory loss for about 7 yrs. Now am mostly recovered.
Daily I used a computer game that made me concentrate.
