a lot of people are having problems connecting to facebook
it seems to be people who are using Internet Explorer after the most recent update - use FIREFOX instead
make sure you are using updated anti-virus protection and anti-malware protection

It tests the website from multiple servers to confirm if the site is actually down or not. Or is it simply a problem with the users computer.
