Asking police - for a confused Dementia person - where do you look for their ID? Wrist, Necklace, Ankle?
Our Dad's dementia is progressing, and he travels with us.
His Dr says it is necessary that he wear an ID tag with our contact info on it. I'm not sure which to buy. I wish I could buy one that he could not take off, but that I have not yet found.
He cannot be relied upon to carry his wallet or keys.

I've seen necklaces and bracelets. I don't know that it matters what you buy. If we really can't find out who he is from talking to him, a bracelet, necklace, etc. will all be something that can be spotted.
Actually now that I say that, I'd probably go with something on the wrist or neck that is easier to see...
