UK postage stamps validity?

Whilst sorting out in preparation for my house move, I found two books of unused UK postage stamps with some Christmas cards. They just say second class and the design is from Christmas 3 or 4 years ago. I have been told that as they just say second class they are still usable - can anyone confirm this as they would be useful for my "change of address" cards!!!

yes, they are still usable as they do not have a price on them.

Yes you can still use them.

    The website states:

"Second Class mail aims to deliver your letter or packet by the third working day after posting, including Saturday. It costs just 32p for letters weighing up to 100g that are no more than 5mm thick and up to C5 in size."

a few hundred pounds worth is probably over the top, but yes, it would be worth stocking up. The stamps have no price on them and will be valid indefinitely.
