I have straight hair, help?:(?

I have straight hair. Like, pin straight hair. And whatever I do to it, it will just...go back to being straight after awhile. I've used heat tools before like a curling iron but I just don't like how it will ruin my hair. I like quick ways to get my hair to be curly or wavy without the use of heat tools. Does anyone know any ways to make my hair curly? Not permanently... And ive used the technique where you braid it and then take it out after couple of hours but it leaves that mark at the bottom where the tie was. Help? Thanks! I'm very thankful to hVe such straight hair but for once I want it to be wavy:)

You should srunch your hair ! its amazing it curls your hair so weel and makes it wavy all you need is mousse and a blow dryer :D

    Wash your hair.

    Squeeze the excess water out.

Towel/air dry for 1-2 minutes. Wrap your hair in a towel. Do not rub your hair at all with the towel, because this will cause frizziness. However, if the ends are still dripping, you can scrunch your hair gently through the towel. If you have thin hair, leave on for a few minutes. If your hair is thick, leave it on for up to 50 minutes. Make sure that your hair isn't completely dry or completely wet - keep it damp.

    # Turn your head upside down so that your hair is hanging down. This step is optional and some prefer to skip it. It helps give volume and a more even scrunch.

Put gel or mousse in your hands and rub them together to spread the gel.

Grab a small handful of hair and push it up toward the head (like scrunching a piece of paper). Hold it in place for a few moments.

Repeat this all over your head, reapplying the mousse and gel every time. Keep in mind that small handfuls yield tighter waves and large handfuls create full, loose waves.

Blow-dry with a diffuser (for extra volume keep your head upside down and keep scrunching as your dry) or leave hair alone while air-drying. Don't brush your hair.

Spray your hair with hairspray to help the curls or waves hold.

Well you can definitely try putting mousse in your hair before braiding it or braiding your hair while it wet and then adding heat to it with the blow dryer. As for the mark the hair tie leaves, you can always try to tie it loosely or just go over that section with the curling iron to remove the crease.
