Computer crashed! I had to start over from scratch. Is there anyway to recover a 'favorites' list?

What about recovering lost files?

Update:

@Smokies: I would have thought the favorites list should be in tact too. However, even the browser went back in time. Unbelievable how slow ie6 was. Reinstalled IE8, but still can't find favorites.

Usually the "Favorites" list is stored on your browser, so it should still be there. Unless you had backup copies of your personal files, they're gone.
