Does anyone know where I can get (in the UK) a chaff without added molasses?

Not alfalfa, I want hay or oat straw chaff. I can't get Simple Systems here nobody stocks it. Does anyone know of any other brand? I'm in Somerset

Update:

All Dengie products have molasses in them. Ditto Marksway products. Read the labels. The only molasses free one I know is Alfa-Oil and that's alfalfa

We have 3 ex-laminitics here and they all get Graze On Gold. It's from Northern Crop Driers, but you can get it delivered anywhere if you buy quite a few in one go. They have all the details on their website: www.northerncropdriers.co.uk

Otherwise, I think Spiller's Happy Hoof is molasses free. Take a look on the Laminitis Trust website and they have details of all the products they endorse.

What about Dengie Hi-Fi? My opinion is that Hi-Fi is like chaff without the molasses.

Afterall it is all the same stuff-straw. I used feed it to my good doers & the mollichaff to the poorer ones & alfalfa to the others!

Let me know wot uz all think is Hi-Fi mollichaff without molasses & added sugary stuff?? Ive always just used Dengie Hi-Fi though as some others are really cheap n crappy-lots of dust n debris rather than the shaft of the straw!?

I found that most chaffs contained a lot of molasses and most of the Dengie contains a lot of chopped oat straw so I switched and feed Ultra Grass, this is a heat dried chopped grass, looks like lawn clippings but obviously isn't!

It is made by Badminton so should be readily available in your area.

Spillars Happy Hoof is unmollased, contains biotin as well as vitamin and mineral pellets. It's not alfalfa either - my mare goes mental on alfalfa but is absolutely fine on this - it's designed for laminetics so is excellent for good doers but is also fine for ordinary horses - we use it for a tb in the summer as well as our cobs all year.
