Does anyone really know the correct spelling of the soon to be exiled ruler of Lybia?

I have seen at least five different ways that people are spelling his name. the least that some of these reporters and tv staions such as cnbc could do is make an attempt to get it correct. does anyone know the correct spelling of his name or are we all just guessing. here are five ways i have seen it spelled. qaddafi, ghadaffi, ghaddafi, gadaffi, and last but not least khadafi.

Update:

excuse me "Libya".

Update 2:

Oh, and yet another "Qadhafi"

The problem is that his name is Arabic, which uses a different alphabet than the one we use. Reporters around the world just sort of guess at the spelling.

There's not any way to spell it exactly in our letters. Most internationally known people with this issue pick an official spelling themselves, and the press will use that spelling all this time. But this particular guy never did choose . Part of his evil scheme to drive western reporters crazy. ?

Gaddafi appears to be the primary way of spelling it. The country on the other hand, is called "Libya".
