mtg question about the outcome of a game in the end we just said it was a tie but im curious to others opinion?

ok its a 3 on 3, like two headed giant, don't know name, against us were three sliver decks so heres the situation:

So everything is going tdandy and i decide to pull the Sharuum the Hegemon infinite loop for infinite life so they decide to mill us for infinity, dont ask how it's a sliver theres your answer, and for good measure attack us with poisonous 1 and unblockable to kill so in response to that i played my platinum angel with my master transmutter so we survive the round so next turn they gain infinite life, again dont ask they're slivers, so now that theyve completely milled us i decide to play open the vaults so now mine being sphinx and therefore mostly artifact and one of my partners being mostly enchantment we get all that back on the field now then i also had elspeth knight errant on the field and i used her effect that turn to make everything we control indestructable, and one of my other partners have a card that gave our creatures basically shroud and allowed him to regenerate any creature and btw we cant "destroy all creatures" i tried that, they had a sliver that returned it back to their deck so they would be able to get everything back out rather quickly since they had the combo out already as enchantments and if it matters they also had a sliver overlord out and slivers that gave provoke and flying and poisonous 1 and unblockable except for other slivers and all that good stuff

ok i know that doesnt give much detail about what exactly is on the field but just from that who would you think have won? my friend says it would be impossible for either side to lose so both sides just decided on a draw

Update:

ok yeah i know that i cant have infinite life we chose a really high number but like 1 x10^10 and both sides had the things out to gain more life if necessary

Update 2:

and there indestructable, so even mass removal wont kill them so with platinum angel i wont have a need to block with it, as for the mill again platinum angel only thing i could think of that would have devastated us would be somthing like evacuate although i had two counters in my hand if they were somehow able to play 3 or were able to counter our counters, we woulda been dead, however i know they dont have any, and i get the most life after 5 turn but in this situation we both could have gained more life at any time, i could have returned the sharuum in the graveyard to the field and with one already on the field have started the loop again and they could have done this confusing thing with their slivers again so that doesnt really work out

Update 3:

and they had this card that whenever a card went to the graveyard it would go on the bottom of the deck or something like that so they could have just waited for their hands to exceed hand size and have discarded therefore never running out so for the waiting for them to run out of cards was kind of not an option

While his answer is correct, I'd like to point out that even if you have 10 Poison counters, as you have Platinum Angel, "You cannot lose the game, and your opponents cannot win the game".

Infinity in MTG is not a number you can use. You only are allowed to set a number and that is what you get. You cannot say "I gain Infinite life" you must set a numeral to it. You also cannot make infinite tokens. If you get into a loop where there is no way out (like if you play reanimate on Worldgorger Dragon) then the game is a draw. If you were in a tournament, the game would go to 5 turns and the team with the most amount of life after 5 turns (unless someone of course wins) wins the game. In casual it is up to the players. There is a way to get around your shroud and indestructible Platinum Angel, in fact there are a few ways around it. Planar Cleansing, Upheaval, anything that forces you to sacrifice creatures, and using infect to either deal 10 poison counters or use the -1/-1 counters to kill the angel.

No, the video games proceed till there's a winner. a minimum of one sport has long gone 2 OTs because of this (a Dolphins-Chiefs sport back interior the early 70s, the longest sport in NFL historic past).

Not very clear on many of the details. If you explained them all we could render a verdict much better. I think that if it really played out like you wrote it did, then it was best to just call it a draw.

Sounds like they would have eventually lost due to mill.
