I've tried answering this question and i just can't figure out what i'm doing wrong..

this is what I have:

Vf = Vo + AT

so -Vo = -32(8.5)

or Vo =272

X = (1/2)AT^2+VoT

plugging in values: x=1/2(-32)(8.5+.65)+(272)(8.5+.65)=2342.4

but that isn't the right answer....

at first I thought i had the times mixed up but I tried switching them and it was still wrong...

ok so im a junior in high school and i want to be a nuclear engineer but i also want a job that pays not necessaraly a lot but still more than enough, my brother(hes 29 and is an RN for those who think he wont know what hes talking about at all) told me that nuclear engineers graduates get paid 50 and said sure that you get paid 120 but after 14 years of expierience and college which he says isnt worth it and tells me to be a pharmacist instead since they get paid more, is that really how much they are paid? or is it more? most sites ive looked this up on said it does start at 50 but it also said that pharmacist are paid 60 which doesnt seem too much of a difference, since it has a much larger difference after a couple years, and should i change career plans? what would you do?

I have some cards in here for defense like a dauthi cutthroat and trapper combo or trapper/embrace with maze of shadows or faceless devourer and the such, i'd like to make it faster if possible, the fastest win I've gotten is 5 turn, also I'm thinking that Coat of Arms would work better than Stronghold Overseer but not sure, so opinions? Add in, take outs? I'd like to keep it a 60 card mono black deck unless you can convince me otherwise, thanks:D

like I had my protean hyrda at 30/30 and he blocked with everything to kill I used heal the scars with on my hydra, the question is will it work and will I gain 30 life or is will it not work because it will be a 0 and be destroyed as a state based effect? Also since I'm on the topic of protean hydra, if someone were to use a snakeform on my hydra would it would retain it's counters right?

like what if you drew your last card this turn and your opponent has a jace and forces you to draw, do you lose when you try to draw or do you just lose when you can't draw during you're draw?

cause if I don't lose then I woulda forced him to attack me with an aluring siren and gotten the last counter on quest for ancient secrets and would have probably won in another two turns

i need a formula that can includes energy mass and speed in one way or another or perhaps formulas that would allow me to find speed using mass and energy, because there is momentum which uses mass and speed however doesnt use energy so therefore its irrelevant to me, i have this huge project due monday and i just need this last value to finish, and i cant find it cause i dont know how.....

ok so me and a friend want to build a pair of decks that will work really well together, that would be built for each other, like they would help each other out, like boost each other, were not sure exactly what deck types would be good for this, any ideas?

lets say that I've been brought down to below zero and have platinum angel on the field and another creature with first strke and my opponent has alluring siren and another creature with flying that can kill my platinum angel if it blocks it, lets say he's at one and my first strike creature is a two, he taps his siren to force me to attack with my angel so I attack with both my creature and my first strke goes unblocked, would my opponent die before my angel did or would they both die?

also if you have a creature that all creatures must block it in a multiplayer game, that only apply to the player I'm attacking right? Same with provoke, if I target a creature but I attack a different player instead of that creatures controller, it won't block?

ok well on the last day that we have lunch at school me and my friends want to order a couple pizza's to be delivered to the school, and well there's no rule against it, but will we get in trouble? We were planning on not telling anyone anything and just have it delivered, should we at least tell the front office?

ok we ran across this a while back, i had hive mind on the field and someone tried pulling the sanguine bond-blood tribute kill combo, what happens? the judge there said everyone dies except for whoever had the most life, which i dont get how seeing as only that guy had sanguine bond

also if i were to have a beacon of immortality in my hand, and they tried this combo could i play beacon of immortality after blood tribute resolves but before sanguine bond does so that i just end up with half of my original life? the judge said no, but i remember reading somewhere that players got priority in between resolutions

say i have a deity of scars and i use a soul's might on it to make it an 8/8, can i still regenerate it 3 times and to that end make it an 11/11 or is just an 8/8 with one +1/+1 counter on it?

my friend always pulls this move on me: hes like at 15 so and plays near death experience so im thinking its pointless so i go ahead and attack him with unblockables till he's really low like 5 and then i fireball him and he uses angel's grace so he's down at 1 instead of dead, so now his upkeep, his life is 1, so he wins, is there anything i can do, i mean i know i can bounce his near death experience, but what about the angel's grace is there anything i can do to counter it or something?

ok let's say that I have aether flash, death pits of wrath, and dovescape out, is there anything an opponent can do? Does putting humility on the field make a difference to what my opponents can do?

ok I've built a lot of decks, and I just haven't built one that I really like, not saying there not good because all my friends have issues beating them, I'm just looking for a fun deck to play with so cards don't have to be legal, however I don't want to use unhinged and unglued cards, so what deck types do you recommend, any suggestion would be appreciated and I would also appreciate it if you would name a few cards that would work well in them so that I would know where to start and maybe a brief description of how you would like the deck to work

p.s. I'd rather stay away from mill, discard, and counter

since dovescape says to counter spells that a player plays, would copying enduring ideal due to it's epic effect still trigger it? if so is there anyway to get around that? And if I were to make enduring ideals uncounterable somehow, would the copies it makes also have that same property?

ok so lets say I have platinum angel out and my opponent uses an infinite damage combo to bring me to -99999999.....etc so if I were to play death's shadow would it be a 13/13 or would it be a huge number/a huge number?

ok so I'm attacking with lorthos the tidemaster and pay for it's effect to tap eight permanents, so in response to that my opponent doom blades it, they're saying that since they killed it that it countered the abiilty and it no longer resolves but it's still legal so it should still resolve shouldn't it?

ok its a 3 on 3, like two headed giant, don't know name, against us were three sliver decks so heres the situation:

So everything is going tdandy and i decide to pull the Sharuum the Hegemon infinite loop for infinite life so they decide to mill us for infinity, dont ask how it's a sliver theres your answer, and for good measure attack us with poisonous 1 and unblockable to kill so in response to that i played my platinum angel with my master transmutter so we survive the round so next turn they gain infinite life, again dont ask they're slivers, so now that theyve completely milled us i decide to play open the vaults so now mine being sphinx and therefore mostly artifact and one of my partners being mostly enchantment we get all that back on the field now then i also had elspeth knight errant on the field and i used her effect that turn to make everything we control indestructable, and one of my other partners have a card that gave our creatures basically shroud and allowed him to regenerate any creature and btw we cant "destroy all creatures" i tried that, they had a sliver that returned it back to their deck so they would be able to get everything back out rather quickly since they had the combo out already as enchantments and if it matters they also had a sliver overlord out and slivers that gave provoke and flying and poisonous 1 and unblockable except for other slivers and all that good stuff

ok i know that doesnt give much detail about what exactly is on the field but just from that who would you think have won? my friend says it would be impossible for either side to lose so both sides just decided on a draw
