mtg question, do +1/+1 counters remove -1/-1 counters?
say i have a deity of scars and i use a soul's might on it to make it an 8/8, can i still regenerate it 3 times and to that end make it an 11/11 or is just an 8/8 with one +1/+1 counter on it?
ok not that the first two were wrong but I know regeneration doesn't deal with counters, deity of scars is a 7/7 that comes into play with two -1/-1 counters(not three my bad) and I can remove one to regenerate it and I was wondering if I could stilll regenerate it if I chose to put +1/+1 counters on it

Your Deity would be bigger than an 8/8. It is a 10/10. The 5 +1/+1 counters that Soul's Might generates, 2 of them cancel the 2 -1/-1 counters making it a 7/7 then you put 3 more counters on it making it a 10/10. +1/+1 counters negate -1/-1 counters. You cannot remove counters that are not there so you would not be able to regenerate the Deity.

Counters are not affected by regeneration. a 5/5 with two +1/+1 and two -1/-1 counter on it remains 5/5. As one with two +1/+1 and one -1/-1 would be a 6/6.

Regeneration doesnt remove counters simply removes it from the stack before damage is assigned or negates a destroy, but +1/+1 do remove -1/-1,

no longer answering the question (it has already been spoke back tremendously plenty by using the different solutions) yet correcting an aside by using certainly one of suggested answerers. Infect will nonetheless harm Planeswalkers in simple terms like regular harm. you're maximum appropriate that Planeswalkers are actually not seen gamers or creatures, yet that would not advise Infect has no impression on them, Infect purely transformations what occurs whilst a creature deals harm to different creatures or gamers. in case you attack with an Infect Creature the creature will deal that is ability in harm to a protecting participant, planeswlaker or blockading creature. If that is being blocked it is going to deal that is harm to the creature in -a million/-a million counters, if it hits a protecting participant it is going to deal that is harm in poison counters and if it hits a Planeswalker it is going to deal that is harm regularly and that many loyalty counters would be got rid of.
