I'm having trouble with my hard contact lenses for kerataconus?

I have kerataconus and yesterday I picked up my hard lenses. I put them in with no trouble at the doctor's office but now the day after I just simply cannot seem to get them to go in. :( No matter how often I touch them to my eye, they won't get off my finger. What am I doing wrong?

Get the side of the lens that is touching your finger dryer by blotting your finger on a lint free towel after taking your contact out of the case or get the side of the contact that is touching your eye a little wetter by putting an extra drop of conditioning solution on it. The lens will stick to the wettest surface.

somewhat, keratoconus isn't all that uncommon. There are approximately one hundred sixty five,000 clinically determined situations in the U. S. on my own. you're probable rather new on the therapy such as your RGP lenses....and that they may well be very complicated to get tailored to for the 1st few weeks. Use your conditioning answer often. maximum folk take a pair of month earlier lots of the topics linked with installation convenience get extra effective. I presume you have countless persist with up visits scheduled such as your Dr. to make advantageous each thing is going as predicted. It takes staying power and backbone for awhile...yet as quickly because it settles down, you will not often recognize they are there. better of success to you, i'm hoping the therapy works and forestalls the form.

Call your doctor and get a check up. Depending on if you were wearing lenses right before you put them in or not may be a factor. Did you over wear your new lenses?

Either way see your doctor for a check.
