My cat, Beastie, who is about a year old, male, neutered, has been acting strangely. He ll start breathing hard, acting like he doesn t feel well. Then he ll go to the hallway and poop on the carpet (he normally always uses the litter box). He ll continue to sit around in a ball like he doesn t feel well for a while, maybe an hour or two... but then he gets back to normal and acts energetic and content. He s done this 4 times over the last two weeks, usually with one-three days in between each incident.

I know I should have already taken him to the vet, but our money is very limited and transportation is a problem. I m hoping I can get some help from family so I can make him an appointment soon, but right now I m just worried about what could possibly be wrong.

My husband thinks it may be that he doesn t get outside to eat any grass and purge, like cats do. We had to start keeping our cats in full time when packs of stray dogs started roaming the area.

My husband found a kitten in the dumpster behind his work. We have raised him from a bottle and are now training him to use a litter box. I'll say he's probably around a month and a half old. He poops in the box with no trouble but he will not pee in it. Instead, he always pees either right next to the box or some random spot on the carpet. We are renting and I don't want the house ruined by cat pee. Any suggestions?

I have kerataconus, and I currently wear contact lenses to correct the problem. However, when I'm not wearing the lenses my sight is incredibly blurry. When I pull my eyelids slightly away so that they're not really touching my eyes, my vision suddenly becomes so much clearer. I mentioned this to my eye doctor and he just sort of shrugged it off. Is it just normal?

I have kerataconus and yesterday I picked up my hard lenses. I put them in with no trouble at the doctor's office but now the day after I just simply cannot seem to get them to go in. :( No matter how often I touch them to my eye, they won't get off my finger. What am I doing wrong?

She's applied for Medicaid in the past with no success- even though we struggle to get by the government says we don't need help. Are there any other avenues available to my other? She really, really needs this medication.

My mom filed bankrupcy recently, but didn't include the house. Now we can't make the house payment. We can hardly put groceries on the table with everyone in the house working. My cat, who has three baby kittens, started drooling this morning. Its thick and her mouth looks amess, and it stinks terribly. She won't eat or drink and she hasn't been with her kittens all day. We tried giving her water and milk with a surrenge- its like she can't swallow. What could be wrong?

The vet here refuses to see us because we haven't been able to pay our bill and a lot of financial trouble that's a whole other story. What do I do?? Please help! =(

With my current eye liner, every time I wear it my vision gets blurry and I get a headache. What's the best brand to use that won't smudge so easily and that isn't insanely expensive? Thanks!

I have a terrible time focusing on anything. When I'm trying to write (and writing is very important to me) I keep playing on the internet instead, or letting other things distract me. When I NEED to work on art, like if I'm being paid for it, I can't seem to make myself do it. However when I need to be doing osmething else, its easy for me to work on art that I don't need to be doing. When I'm at work I work so slowly because I just can't stay focused. Its like I have absolutely no self control when it comes to staying focused on one thing that I NEED to get done.

Please help, this is driving me crazy. I can't afford a therapist so anything I could try mself would be very appreciated.

A friend of mine is going to be putting some of her old trac phones in a yard sale and I was thinking of getting one from her. Question is, if I buy just the phone and the charger can I reactivate it since I wasnt the original owner? Thanks!

I've had them most of my life- since I was about 8 or 9 years old, I think. Even when I get plenty of sleep, I still have them. Coupled with my pale complexion, they make me look like a zombie. Even covering them up with makep doesnt help much

I have several projects that need doing, but I can't seem to focus on any of them. I can't get anything done. I make to do lists but I can't stick to them. My mind always seems to be racing and Its really frustrating. Could I have some kind of disorder? Any tips on helping me get more focused?

My family is having a very difficult time. We're scraping by from one paycheck to the next. I'm 22 and I've been working two jobs for the last 3 years to help support my famly, and I'm SICK of it. My 30 yr old sister (who was arrested twice for drug stuff) is out of work now, and she lazes around the house making a mess, eating our groceries, never paying her own phone bill and never helping around the house; my brother works but he hardly helps with the bills at all; my mother works hard but I feel like she doesnt work as much as she could beause she depends on me. She won't tell my siblings to do their part or get out, and I always end up doing more than I should have to.

I'm sick of it. I'm starting to resent my family. I don't want to abandon them and if I move out I wont be able to help at all, but seriously... lately I've been depressed constantly and not even going home when I can help it because everyone is always mad at eachother. No one will listen to me, and I'm STILL the one everyone always depends on.

I want to move out and start paving my OWN way in this world, going to college, etc. But I'm scared to leave because I don't want my family to hate me and I don't know if I could make it on my own ... I don't know what to do... please give me some advice.

I just asked a question on here about an honest to goodness fear that has been giving me panic attacks, asking for some comfort, and within five minutes was hit with a bunch of answers about how I'm being ridiculous, stupid, wimpy, etc. etc. Even though I stated I have an anxiety disorder.

This just brings home how little others actually understand about how difficult anxiety disorders can be to live with. Even my family is this way sometimes. When something is- to me- a real worry, it can make me feel afraid and worry to the point of being sick. They just roll their eyes and act like I'm trying to get attention. I'm not. I've stopped telling them when I'm worried and I guess it was stupid of me to try to bring it up here.

if you have an anxiety disorder, how do you get others- especially your loved ones- to understand that your fear and anxiety is very real, and not just you being 'a wimp'?

I'm trying to raise money to go on a trip and selling art commissions on the side to do so. (Someone tells me what they want me to draw and I draw it for them when they pay me). Selling them on deviantart is ok but as it is a community of artists, there are not many customers. I'm just wondering if there are any forums or communities out there where I might find someone interested.
