Help, my cat is sick- labored breathing, urinating on herself, acting shocked- what could it be?

I'm worried about my kitty :( I can't take her to the vet until tomorrow. What could be wrong with her and how can I hep her?

Almost every area of the country has an emergency animal facility. I strongly suggest that you try to find one and take your kitty in ASAP. Cats don't urinate on themselves unless it is something that is uncontrollable. The labored breathing and her unusual mannerism of "acting shocked" all sounds quite frightening to me. I believe your kitty needs a vet's care as quickly as possible! But, if you can't get in somewhere tonight, then try to keep her as calm as possible. Keep her close to you and try to get her to eat and drink. If you normally feed her dry food, then get moist and keep fresh water close by. Just pet and massage her gently so she feels secure and loved. Please let me know what you find out is wrong with her...I've had cats all my life and have never come across these symptoms. I will be praying for the both of you!

    Cat Labored Breathing

Oh my goodness! This sounds alarming! Do you have an emergency vet hospital near you? I think you need to take your cat there ASAP, or at least calling the emergency place and explaining the symptoms of your cat to them over the phone. Does your current vet have an emergency number you can call? Like, if you call your vet (if it's after hours), do they leave an emergency number to call? I'm very concerned about your cat. If this was my cat, I would rush her to the emergency vet as quickly as possible. I'm so sorry about this. If there's no way of getting her to the vet right now, just be strong for her and try to console her if she'll let you...talk to her calmly and lovingly. Is there anyone else you know that you could call to come help you if you can't get to the vet? These symptoms don't sound good. l'll say a prayer for you and your cat... I hope she'll be ok.

If My Cat Was Like that. I Would Cuddle Her In Bed. And Just Help Her Sleep. Maybe Give Her Some Tuna. Do Thinks That Will Make Her Happy to Calm Her Down. Just If She Doesnt Want You Near Her. Just Leave Her. If You Have Any Cat Nip Give Her Some. Or Have A Cat Brush. Brush Her. Both My Cats Love Being Brushed! Hope I Helped. And I Hope He is Better Soon. x

I'm no vet, but I suggest trying to clean and groom her without causing her stress as best as you can, try to give her some water and soft food, but don't force her to eat if she doesn't want to. If you feel that she is very hot then try cooling her by gently pressing a chilled water bottle around her. If she has chills, use a warm heat pack, and let her rest. Sorry, I have no idea what could be wrong with her, but for now I suppose doing this is the best you can do. Good luck and I hope she gets better!

Check your plants for bite marks, are any of them toxic to cats?

Check all the accessible electric cables, kittens like to chew on them and get shocked.

Look for snakebites or spider, she might have been "hunting" an got bitten.

check her pupils for reaction, lips for any kind of burn mark.

If ANY of this is happening she needs a Vet ASAP!
