My 8 month old Chihuahua pup has one ear that has turned bright red. It doesn't seem to bother her or itch, but it looks bad to me. What is it and what should I do for her?

She may have bumped her ear. If it isn't bothering her, don't mess with it. You will probably just end up irritating it, so leave it alone. If it is still red tomorrow or if it starts to bother her, take her to the vet. She could have ear mites or infection. But my bet is it will be better tomorrow.
