  • Has anyone had a Chihuahua that had hydrocephalus?

I just found out yesterday that my 11 week old chihuahua pup has hydrocephalus. The vet gave us some steroids to give her and hopes it will help her. Has anyone had a pup with this? How long does it take for them to feel any better? What is her chances of making it through this?

  • What do I do about this? I need help fast!?

Ok, I'm in a bit of a complicated situation. I am currently seeing a guy that I really like, but he kinda freaks me out. He has multiple personality disorder so he is never the same person for very long. Sometimes this can be a little frightening. Then there is my daughter's father who I love, but we have had some major issues in the past and don't know what would happen if we were to try it again like he wants to do.

I am getting ready to move across country in a few weeks and both of them want to go with me but neither know the other wants to. I don't want to move by myself, but I don't know what to do as far as which one moving with me. I want my daughter to have a father figure, whether it be her real one or not.

Any ideas on what to do? I need help fast.

  • Can I move out of state with my child?

I am divorced and would like to move out of Kentucky to another state. Can I do this? My divorce was filed and granted in Kentucky. I was given primary custody of my 2 year old son. I am now engaged and my fiance and I would like to move to another state and I need to know if there is anything my ex husband could do to stop me from doing so?

I have mentioned moving before to the state that my mother lives in and my ex told me he would like to see me go ahead and try. I don't know if this is just another of his attempts to keep me around here or if there actually is something he could do to stop it or get me in trouble legally for taking my son.

My Chihuahua pup keeps getting fleas and I can't seem to get rid of them. He is too small for frontline and the pill form since he is only 2lbs, anyone else know any good remedies for fleas? I need help!!! They are driving me crazy so I can only imagine how poor little Dexter feels.

  • Cereal problems.....?

My daughter is 5 1/2 months old and refuses to eat cereal with a spoon. I've tried feeding it to her twice a week for the last couple weeks and all she does is spit it back out. I gave her some baby bananas the other night and she didn't have a problem with them. Cereal is important for babies so I need to know how to get her to eat it. I tried mixing the bananas with it and that didn't work. Help????

  • What is this? What do hot spots look like?

I have a 4 year old beagle that all of a sudden got this huge sore on her back. A big chunk of skin came off it and she is going nuts trying to chew it. I have put peroxide on it every day to make sure it doesn't get infected. A friend told me it's a hot spot. What do hot spots look like? I don't know if that is what it is but she is miserable. What do I do?

  • Where can I find this Kentucky law?

A friend of mine has children that live with their mother. They are not yet divorced but the mother has been living with her boyfriend with the children present. I know there is a law against the custodial parent having a person of the opposite sex staying over night when the children are present, but I can't remember what the Kentucky statute number is or where to find it. He needs this info ASAP. Anyone know?

  • Is something wrong with my Chihuahua?

  • Chihuahua question....?

I have a 9 week old Chihuahua puppy. My question is when he is older, will I be able to breed him and get normal puppies since he is parrot jawed? The mom and dad weren't parrot jawed, but my poor little guy is big time.... as in his bottom jaw is so short his tongue hangs out all the time. It's cute and I know he can't help it, but I was just wondering if I will be able to breed him without fear of the pups having the same issue?

  • any other moms of 2 under age 2 feel like they're going crazy?

I have a 23 month old son and a 3/ 1/2 month old daughter. My son has been sleeping through the night since he was 2 months old, and my daughter has been for the last few weeks. However, it seems that since I finally got my daughter to sleep through the night, my son has been waking up screaming every night and coming to get in bed with us. I am so tired I can hardly keep my eyes open anymore, and I feel like I'm going crazy. I don't know what has caused this with my son. Any other mom's out there feel like they are going crazy with 2 kids both under 2 years old?

  • Are child car seats required ................?

Do airlines require children to be in a car seat, or can they just sit in the normal plane seat? I'm traveling with my 2 year old and my 3 month old. I know the infant has to be on my lap, but my son has a ticket and I was just wondering if I will have to take his car seat or if he can sit on the plane seat?

  • Does anyone know where to get kids' photo Id's?

I got an email from the airline that my children and I will be using in two weeks and they said my 23 month old needs a photo Id since he has a ticket and seat. I called the DMV to see about getting him a photo ID, and they said they don't do ID's for children under 2. Does anyone know where I can get a photo ID for both children? All the pharmacies I called that do photo developing say they only do passports.

  • what the hell was he thinking?

Yesterday I saw something on the news where a father is being charged with child abuse because he took his 4 year old son to a tattoo parlor and had them tattoo "Daddy's Boy" on the child. This is seriously disturbing. I think he should get a lot of time in prison for this. What does everyone else think?

  • Does anyone think this is mean or is it ok?

I'm thinking about getting my daughter's ears pierced. She is only 3 months old. Is this mean? I think it is cute when babies have pierced ears, but at the same time I can't help but wonder if it is mean since they are so little and it does hurt a little.

  • Is this allowed on a plane?

I was reading the list of what is allowed on the plane for infants and children and it says formula is, but it talks only about the liquid kind. Does anyone know if they allow powdered formula? If so, how much is allowed on the plane?

  • Does anyone else find this inappropriate?

Does anyone else find the new Burger King Spongebob commercial a little inappropriate for a kids? I just don't think it is appropriate to show the square butts commercial for a kids meal, when the commercial is aimed at getting kids attention. It bothers me.
