usually, when theres a memory prob on aftermarket radios. its just a case of switching around the red and yellow wires, they have a plastic cover and clip to switch them.

never heard of the prob on a transit tho

Source(s): fit a number of radios to opels/vauxhalls and switching red/yellow always worked

production facility radios have greater desirable wires which at the instant are not needed with an oem set up a number of the time (wires that administration the dimmer on the radio, speed gentle volume) you'll want 3 skill wires (consistent, ignition, and floor), plus your speaker wires use a try gentle to attempt your wires, often on the radio the yellow twine is your consistent, the crimson is your ignition, and black is often floor to locate your consistent use the try gentle, it's going to be warm in any respect circumstances so as that your radio can remember the time, and your settings- next you like your ignition, that's barely warm whilst the nice and cozy button is on or interior the accessory place, to tell the radio whilst to come back on- the floor is self explanatory to locate which wires bypass to what audio gadget all you like is a 9v battery, placed the helpful end to a twine and verify out all of the different wires to the adverse area and you will hear a crackling noise from a speaker once you have the sumptuous blend stable success
