Technical Writing Without a Specific Skill?
Is it still beneficial to go to school for technical writing without having a particular skill otherwise? For instance, I am not an engineering or science major. My skill IS writing, but I would like to make money without being a "starving writer."
Is that possible without a specific technical skill?

Briefly, technical writers create technical written materials, such as manuals, appendices, instructions, catalogs, promotional information, parts listings, and proposals to name a few. While they may not necessarily write every single word in a document, they arrange the material the easiest possible way for the end-user.
In addition to a degree or certificate in technical writing, employers look for other specialized training in the company's technical subject. For example, a semiconductor manufacturing company would look for a technical writing candidate with a technical writing degree or certificate and an associate degree, bachelor degree, or experience in electronic engineering. In addition to formal education, knowledge of popular software programs used by technical writers is also essential.
I think you will need experiences in technical writing in a field that you feel comfortable, so try going to college to get a degree in technical writing. Then after graduation from either a community college or a university, look for technical writing jobs in a field that you like. After a few years, you will gain experience and you can specialize in technical writing in the field that you like and where you have experiences. Good luck.

TBH, I feel its all a personal style... Like the whole lot is with tune. Ok, well, as for the instrumentalists... Its sort of problematic, since if you take a band, we could say... The Beatles, quite, they used like what, four chords or so? And various their stuff (as a minimum early on) was quite simple... Yet it sounded a-freaking-mazing. And you know how a lot of persons say they would rather have the guitarist play slower than say, just like the guitarist from Dragonforce? Im the identical way (again its individual). I dont necessarily like how some guitarists suppose the must show off with a thousand yr lengthy solo. But on the other hand, an instrumentalist does must have ability, and ability, you know? If he sounds horrible, im no longer paying attention to them -.- And as for the vocalists, I love it when they have a lot of ranges, it keeps matters fascinating and now not boring. Even as a singer, I in finding that they are style of like story tellers, in a method. They want their voices heard and so they must maintain the listener hooked. "Is it ability to take a foul singing voice and make it sound really just right, similar to Kurt Cobain or Brian Johnson?" I dont think that that is necessarily skill. I simply think some individuals can pull it off, and some folks can not. I suppose that while you play an instrument even as singing, that simply takes observe... Lots of practice. Not necessarily talent. BQ: UGH, its rough for the reason that I mean, a band are not able to stay the identical by means of their whole profession.. That'd be sooo boring at a time later on in the bands career.... However alternatively, i wouldn't need a band to change each album both. Stability is the key my pal. BQ2: Dylans :-) BQ3: oh geez... Good, The Beatles, Black Sabbath, crimson Floyd, Queen, RHCP. < half of these were random choices, I spent an excessive amount of time on the first half of :P
