I'm applying for Medicaid and I received a letter stating: "Your CHECKING ACCOUNT verification is due on Friday May 16, 2014."

What constitutes verification?

It takes my case worker almost a week to get back to me and I'd like to stay on top of this.

A little over two weeks ago now I came down with flu-like symptoms-- aches, fatigue, chills, headache, head congestion, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, and loss of appetite. I didn't really have a sore throat or horrible cough though and the weird thing is that my husband never seemed to get sick.

I'm still feeling really worn down but now I'm also experiencing nausea from the moment I wake up until about 3 in the afternoon and then I'm suddenly super ravenous in the evenings (the other night I made a grilled cheese with pickles and ketchup at 10 PM and proceeded to have indigestion all night). I'm also experiencing hot flashes, slight cramping, food and smell aversions, back pain, weepiness, and gagging. I'm very sensitive to smells right now too and seem to be able to smell things no one else can or from far away.

The weird thing is, I've taken those First Response tests but they're coming out negative.

I'm due for my period in 3 days... anyone else ever experienced these symptoms before they found out they were pregnant and can First Response be innacurate early on?

Alright, I can't believe I'm actually doing this but here it goes-- my husband and I had unprotected sex a few times at the end of and after my period because we thought that was safe since I don't ovulate until day 14.

Normally, I feel myself ovulate but this time around I can't actually specifically recall ovulating.

Since then I've been really thirsty and peeing all of the time, having crazy dreams and mood swings, terrible anxiety, fatigue, headaches, very sensitive to smells (it's like scents are in-stereo), crying about stupid crap like television commercials, slight cramping, bad nausea until about 3 PM, and then I become ravenous around 10 PM. I also have lower back pain. My boobs don't hurt but they do usually kill before I start my period and I'm three days out and they're still not hurting.

So, I'm not due for my period for another three days and have taken the First Response Pregnancy Test but it came back negative. Thoughts?

Is it still beneficial to go to school for technical writing without having a particular skill otherwise? For instance, I am not an engineering or science major. My skill IS writing, but I would like to make money without being a "starving writer."

Is that possible without a specific technical skill?

So here's the deal:

I got this Vaio laptop three years ago now. It has always and still always works exceptionally well except for one thing-- the DVD/CD rom drive doesn't always work. When I put a movie, game, or CD in it, I hear it spinning and working but when I go into My Computer's F drive it doesn't see a disk.

After about twenty thousand tries of ejecting and trying again it FINALLY recognizes whatever is in there and works.

This happens mostly with the games and CDs but it's still incredibly annoying and difficult. Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do to fix it?

I may be shooting a wedding with a friend in two weeks and even though I love taking pictures and have been told that mine are great I don't know anything about wedding photography!

So, my question is, what kind of pictures do you wish had been taken at your wedding or would you like to see taken at your wedding? More group shots? Family shots? Getting ready shots? What angles and styles? Etc. etc.

Seriously. Some play just fine (burned or purchased) and yet others don't read in my computer at all. Is it my computer or the cd's?

For example, I'm trying to rip the MGMT CD but my computer won't read it. It also doesn't read some more independent releases.

I have a Sony Vaio laptop if that helps any.

I want details, not just "oh, I'd freak." Have you ever had something like this happen to you? Or have you ever been on the other side and done something like this? I'm not here to judge I'm just doing some research and would like to know different perspectives.

My player stopped working after 8 months. Like, the back button doesn't work and I can't even turn the stupid thing off. I tried sending a repair report to Zune and they never got back to me. Does anyone know a better way to contact them? I'm ready to ship the thing back, I don't even want the money. Next time I'll get an ipod.

In April of this year he sat our family down to tell us our family home was in foreclosure. All spring he took us "house hunting" and got our hopes up about a particular house we really loved. Come July we still hadn't filed the final paperwork. Around this time my brother and I noticed he was mowing the lawn a lot. Conicidentally it was only when our neighborlady whom I cat sit for, Cindy, was outside or mowing her lawn too. She was mowing the lawn a lot over the summer because her boyfriend (who she started up with while he was still married, and who she left her son and husband for) left her.

Oh boo hoo.

At the end of July my dad (tried to) beat the crap out of my little brother (but my little brother is an effin street fighter so dad was unsucessful) and then announced he was leaving our family after 20 years to "find himself."

My mom got a minimum wage job and cried until September when my dad was arrested for embezzling 60k from some of the members of our Church.

Then my dad decided he wanted to be with her again so he moved in with us again (we are very forgiving people) while awaiting his trial. My mother was elated that her husband was in love with her again.

While my mom was working until 10:30 at night to support my father since he refused to get a job (as he prefered to spend his days leading to his trial having me cook him dubious amounts of food while he popped Valium and Zoloft and bummed cigarette money off me) I noticed my dad was gone a lot at night.

And that's when I realized he was whoring around with Cindy.

I told my mom.

The poop hit the fan, before leaving town my dad called me every name in the book, let me know I ruined his whole life, and insisted I withdraw my last $40 from my bank account so he could skip town.

He ran away to his parent's house only to return a bit later begging for our love. When we refused to let him live with us again he checked himself into a mental ward claming he was having a nervous breakdown from the lack of his family's love. Thus his parent's have been calling quite a bit to reem me out about what a lowlife grand daughter I am and my grandpa even called to personally uninvite us to his funeral!

Yesterday some very nice people came to the house to change our locks.

Today my mother recieved a letter in the mail from a concerned Church member berating her for filing for divorce from my dad.

My d-bag father has decided to leave our family after 20 years. Our house is currently in foreclosure but Countrywide is thinking about selling the house back to us. The house is in my mother's name. If she goes bankrupt is there anyway for us to save our home?

For some reason, recently, some of my document titles (including pictures and whatnot) have been in a blue font instead of the normal black font. Anyone know what's up?
