Am I Pregnant? Women only please, what were your first experiences with pregnancy?

Alright, I can't believe I'm actually doing this but here it goes-- my husband and I had unprotected sex a few times at the end of and after my period because we thought that was safe since I don't ovulate until day 14.

Normally, I feel myself ovulate but this time around I can't actually specifically recall ovulating.

Since then I've been really thirsty and peeing all of the time, having crazy dreams and mood swings, terrible anxiety, fatigue, headaches, very sensitive to smells (it's like scents are in-stereo), crying about stupid crap like television commercials, slight cramping, bad nausea until about 3 PM, and then I become ravenous around 10 PM. I also have lower back pain. My boobs don't hurt but they do usually kill before I start my period and I'm three days out and they're still not hurting.

So, I'm not due for my period for another three days and have taken the First Response Pregnancy Test but it came back negative. Thoughts?

Sperm can survive up to 3 days in a woman before going bad. So if you didn't ovulate right away and did 2-3 days after sex there's a possibility you could be pregnant. Most symptoms don't come around till about 6-8 weeks pregnant. I took a first response twice and both were negative. Then didn't get my period. Went to the dollar store got a dollar test and was positive. I'm now 19 weeks pregnant. If you miss your period test then. Until then wait it out. It will be hard not knowing. :/ best time to test is right after you wake up in the morning, since you haven't drank anything. Wish you the best

If you're pregnant enough to feel symptoms, a pregnancy test should be accurate. However, since your period isn't late yet, you may have tested too early. Wait until your expected period date and test again.
