I don't even know what music I like any more, I need something new. Can you help?
I used to mostly love modern rock, but I stopped listening to most of it because it's depressing. And started listening to a lot of reggae, but you can only take so much pure reggae haha.
I tend to like bands or songs without necessarily liking the genre in general, so Idunno what to say. :/
I prefer acoustic to synthesized type music, in between is good too.
I'm open to pretty much anything except partying type music.
Any ideas?

Yea, listen to The Wall by Pink Floyd, no depression there /internet sarcasm. (Don't get me wrong, I love Pink Floyd, but they do have a bit of a "depressing" sound in some of their songs) Good synthesizers are in Pink Floyd's "Welcome to the Machine" and that whole album is one of my favorite of all time.
The 2nd disc of "In Your Honor" by Foo Fighters is pure acoustic and most of their stuff is amazing, they've been voted band of the century by many.
I've also found a lot of fun with Alter Bridge, some of their songs come off as depression but their more about renewing from past failures.
Hope you find what you're looking for, if you want more suggestions email me, I have over 200 bands of at least one album on my iPod.
