How does one fight for your rights which have been taken away from you?
After a visit to a Hospital.... and being the wrong one...I had to get a Lawyer to get me out. Now having won my case , they are now trying another tactic.... taking my Driving License away, and I have had one for over forty years,,, without a scratch being put on any one of the cars, and only one speeding ticket, when I first started driving. Can anyone please tell me where and whom could help me in this instance, or any advice on where to apply next. The most ironic part of all this ... is that I worked for the NHS for about ten years,, taking their Patients to Hospitals all over the Country,. including London about three times per week.... Now they are tring to take my License away.... any suggestions please as to my next move... ??
A little more information for you, the reason for going to the Hospital was to get the results of a Biopsy I had on my breast as the Specialist thought it may be Cancer and he warned me if it was it would mean having it removed. I still have not got those results because of the blunder they made, and quite frankly seeing that I do not trust the NHS anymore, I am giving the Hospitals a miss ... both now and in the future. As they say I will live with it... !! My Husband died about twenty years ago, with Cancer, but they never cared about him either until it was too late. The NHS has a lot to answer for as far as I am concerned, and according to what I have read, and heard about it since then.....I am right.

You still need a lawyer so get all of your court papers where you won the case and have a lawyer intervene for you.~

what about getting an independent expert to validify you right to drive if you have to fight them??prove that you are still able to drive competently you could go and take a few lessons with a driving instructor and get him to write you a written reference(a professional opinion) then go to a private hospital and get a medical report your eyes etc ........i completely agree with you about the nhs its a joke learn there rules and play there game.
another option for you if they force you into it take a look at tpuc.org these guys really know there rights and take them back and enforce them they will help you im sure.
basically its people like you that have had enough and decided to opt out not surprisingly with the state of our "services"

DVLA would not revoke a driving license because of the possibility the person might have breast cancer. Nor would you need legal intervention to leave hospital.
Have you been diagnosed with some other illness?
