Call of Duty - Black Ops - Benefits of Prestige?

you get a smart emblem everytime you prestige, and i think going round level 50 again makes you a better player as its easy to keep using best guns all the time....but then again all i use is AUG....legendary

I would seriously consider NOT doing it. I 2 have just hit level 50, and all my buddies have decided to prestige......yeeaaaaa i spent way too much time getting the pro perks to have to start all over again. What do u get from deciding to prestige? Access to prestige servers, a few more titles......and thats it. NO point what so ever. Ill keep my guns thank you very much

Extra custom classes but you will have to start all over again. But then again prestiging can be very fun i prestiged to prestige 6 on mw2 then got bored of the game.

If you get to 14th prestige you get the option of gold camo's on your guns, i think prestiging is fun but if your trying to get 'cool' gameplays just stay your current prestige.

You will also get prestige playlists barebones and stuff. Hope you enjoy black ops

There are no benefits of prestige.

The only thing that prestige unlocks are extra emblems to make an emblem in the player card, extra facepaints, gun cammo's and access to prestige game lobbies.

Nothing that will "benefit" you in playing.

well , for starters you can boast , but the main thing is that you get to unlock prestige type of servers such as core and Barebones . But only upgrade to prestige if you have the perserverance to bother to get to level 50 again.

nothing really at all, I mean there is no real benefit at all! apart from the fact that at the last prestige you get the nicest gold camo's for your guns and moving playercards! Nothing that special really, But yeah you can boast, and you get the feeling of 'woo ive done unlocked a ridiculous amount of challenges in one game' haha :D
