Did the San Jose Sharks do enough to win a Stanley Cup in 2011 ?

You ask this question like it's sometime after early June 2011 and the Sharks won the Stanley Cup. I am going to try to figure out what your real question is. Could it be...

"Are the San Jose Sharks good enough to win the Stanley Cup in 2011?"

or...

"Have the San Jose Sharks done enough to make themselves top contenders for the Stanley Cup this year?"

No matter the case, I'll tell you this: San Jose has the skill, but I don't know if they have the determination. Once the playoffs start, we'll know if they truly have what it takes.

Going to need to do more In the next 2 to 3 months If they can hold on and make the playoffs will have to fight through It have to beat all team they face In the playoffs to win the cup, I don't think they are good enough pittsburgh, detroit and chicago have proved their points philly and vancouver way better choices then san jose.

Right now, they're lookin pretty good (7 game win streak), but I don't think they have what it takes to beat Detroit and/or Vancouver in the playoffs. However, if they go into the playoffs on a hot streak like they're on now, it's going to be tough to beat them. I'm rooting for them all the way, and right now, they're looking like the team to beat...

I don't think so.

Only way I would think they could of taken the west is if they did something crazy yesterday like got Brad Richards. I think Vancouver or Detroit has the West locked up.

However the playoffs is full of crazy things so you may never know.
