Is rainwater safe to drink once it's been Brita Filtered?
I never asked for a doctors opinion. Sure, it would be beneficial but it's not expected.

I'm not a doctor but I do work in the water industry.
There are a couple of factors that need to be considered.
1: How long have you stored it for and where?
- Bacteria are only likely to be present in harm-full quantities if the rainwater has been stored in a non-airtight container for more than a couple of hours.
2: How was it collected?
- Whilst rainwater does contain some airborne pollutants, the surface which it lands on to be channelled into a collection vessel is likely to be a far greater source of pollutants, although these will be larger particulates which will be removed by most domestic water filters.

If it has got pollutants in it a Brita filter won't take them out , It's fine to drink as it is .

It's better to add arsenic to it first. This will kill all of the bacteria in the rainwater.
