Where are the Oblivion spell tomes?

just as you said,they are hidden all over the place,in caves,forts,various chest,all over.you will know when you find one because it asks you some thing,i forget what at the moment,but you will know when you find them.you can check out this site for more help and info on the game.if you can afford them,all of the other dlc are pretty cool and can be useful.the horse armor looks cool but you really don't need it.i have it for the pc version because it came on the disc with the others,other wise i wouldn't have bought it.hope this helps.good luck in oblivion.http://www.uesp.net/wiki/oblivion:oblivion

I downloaded this some time ago on the xbox live marketplace but never seemed to notice where the damn things are. Does anyone know where I can find them as I take it they are hidden or placed in caves and ruined forts?

I don't beleive it specifically says where to find them since they are scattered about everywhere as the first answerer indicated.

But u will find them randomly in chests, on NPCs u kill, etc.
